    Corequisite: HOC 050A This course is designed to prepare the licensed vocational nurse for entry into an associate degree nursing (ADN) program. The course content focuses on competencies expected of the graduate ADN (critical thinking skills, review of medical-surgical nursing concepts, role change, research skills, teaching-learning principles, development of the nursing teaching role, pharmacology principles, medication calculation) to prepare the student for success in an AND program. Grade Only.
