    Description
    This is a continuation course in pharmacology designed to assist the vocational nursing student with the principles of pharmacology. Emphasis is on defining pharmacological agents, classes, precautions for use, side effects, medication interactions, contraindications, and patient teaching for safe and proper pharmacological agents used for patients with disorders of the endocrine, hematologic, integumentary, and gastrointestinal systems and for pediatric clients.
