The nursing process is used as a critical thinking tool in understanding diagnostics, assessing manifestations experienced by the patient, identifying and implementing evidence-based nursing interventions, and evaluating outcomes. Students identify the role of vocational nurses in collaborating with other health team members and planning therapeutic management of patients with conditions affecting the gastrointestinal, integumentary, endocrine, and hematological systems.
