    Description
    This is an intermediate level experiential course which provides the vocational nursing student with clinical experiences during which they integrate standards of professional practice, theoretical principles of nursing, therapeutic communication, nursing process and basic nursing skills during supervised care to adult and neonatal clients with acute or chronic medical-surgical/obstetrical concerns. Students spend approximately fifteen hours each week in inpatient and/or community health facilities.
