    This laboratory course provides hands-on skills training to support HOC 019H, Nursing Assistant Fundamentals and gives the student a foundation in the basic skills required to provide health care in a skilled nursing facility. Students who successfully complete this course, along with HOC 019H and HOC 019B, are eligible to apply for the California Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) examination.
