    The American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) to prepare individuals to respond to common life-threatening emergencies and to injuries and sudden illness that may arise in the workplace and in the community. This course covers CPR for adults, children and infants and the use of AEDs (automated external defibrillators), and has scenarios to facilitate discussion of appropriate care in first aid emergencies. Successful participants receive an American Heart Association eCard (course completion card).
