    Description
    The course is designed to prepare the student to provide rescue breathing and closed chest compression (Basic Life Support) as well as use of AED to a victim of sudden death. This course is taught according to guidelines of the American Heart Association. AHA CPR/AED course completion cards are issued to students who successfully meet course objectives. The student is required to read the textbook "BLS for Healthcare Providers" prior to attending class.
