    Description
This course provides techniques for medical word building and interpretation using basic word elements (root words, prefixes and suffixes) of Greek and Latin origin. Students learn anatomical, physiological, and pathological medical terminology, as well as therapeutic and diagnostic words, with an overview of each body system. Students demonstrate their ability to define, pronounce, and understand the meaning of medical terms through assignments such as analyzing medical records and creating a PowerPoint presentation.
