The focus is both on creative design and the appropriate software and coding skills required in web design and front-end web development. Advanced design principles of type, color, illustration, and layout are explored along with intermediate to advanced HTML, CSS, and an introduction to JavaScript and other relevant technologies. A basic understanding of computer system operation is required. (noncredit course - not degree applicable)
