Students will enhance their critical reading, writing, and research skills by exploring and applying various techniques writers use in terms of approach, tone, word choice, organization, selection of support materials, etc. in order to impact their target audience and achieve their purpose. English C1000 fulfills the English requirement for the Associate degree. This course also satisfies the English requirement for baccalaureate degrees.
