    Description
    This course will analyze fiction, poetry, film, music, graphic literature, and creative non-fiction as we explore queer identities and queer experiences in writings by lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, transgender and pansexual authors and characters. These texts and other media will be studied in the context of the struggle for queer identities, queer power, and queer autonomy and challenging heteronormativity between the 19th and 21st Centuries.
