There is an emphasis on interactions between maturational processes and environmental factors within the family, cultural, and societal context. Students observe children using investigative research methods, evaluate differences, and analyze characteristics of development at various stages. This course fulfills requirements as a core course for Title 22 licensing and the Child Development Permit Matrix.
