    Description
    This beginning pottery course that focuses on techniques for using the pottery wheel to throw a variety of forms including: bottles, jars with lids, and teapots. Topics include: designing sgraffito and slip trail surfaces, glaze mixing and testing, kiln firing, Japanese raku glazes and firing methods. Emphasis is on experimentation and creative expression of ideas, cultural perspectives and personal experiences for artistic growth and development.
