    Description
    This introductory survey course focuses on the history, perception, and development of design during the Twentieth Century. The students will develop an understanding of the evolution and role of the Modern Movement and how it affects society. The students will explore the evaluation criteria of two-dimensional and three-dimensional design while examining examples of architecture, industrial, graphic, fashion, and interior design. The students will be introduced to influential Twentieth Century design figures and their work.
