    Description
    This functional flexibility course is designed to use force production of a muscle and the body's momentum to take a joint through the full available range of motion. Dynamic stretching uses the concept of reciprocal inhibition to improve soft tissue extensibility. Students perform flexibility training exercises utilizing therabands, stretch cages, foam rollers, speed ladders, hurdles, and medicine balls the equivalent. UC CREDIT LIMITATION: Any or all activity courses, maximum credit, 4 units.
