- This course provides a non-technical introduction to economics. Designed for the non-major, it shows the application of basic economic principles to contemporary social issues and public policy. UC CREDIT LIMITATION: No credit if taken after ECON 101, ECON 102, ECON C2001 , or ECON C2002 .
