Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course applies the principles and technologies to prevent, detect, combat, and recover from cybersecurity threats including behavior analytics to improve and harden the overall state and posture of an IT Security environment. Building upon their knowledge of networks and cybersecurity, students are exposed to threat management, vulnerability management, cyber incident response, and security architectures. The tools and techniques used in this course are approached from a vendor-neutral perspective, as these are open source tools commonly found on the Internet used by attackers. This course helps prepare students for the CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst+ (CySA+) certification exam.
