Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course introduces students to automotive engine mechanical theory and repair. Topics include four-cycle engine theory and operation, lubrication and cooling system service and repair, and engine removal and installation. In the on ground or hybrid course students disassemble, inspect, and assemble engine blocks and cylinder heads to factory specifications. In the 'online only' course students perform the same lab tasks in a virtual environment.
