    Physics of ionizing radiation: Photon and particle interaction with living tissue, protective materials and barriers, state and federal regulations governing radiation and consumer protection, practical methods and principles used in producing optimum images while limiting patient exposure, instrumentation in detecting and monitoring radiation, and measurement of useful scatter radiation.
