    Description
    Fundamental nursing concepts and practices: Development of care and diagnostic skills; emerging trends in the promotion and conservation of health for individuals, families, and communities; and history of health care and changing concepts of health and illness. Application of concepts from the Neuman Systems Model, Roy Adaptation Model, and Jean Watson's Theory of Human Caring to underscore the importance of caring and humanistic values in nursing practice.
