- Principals and foundation of medical language: The basic structure of medical words, prefixes, suffixes, word roots, combining forms, plurals and abbreviations; pronunciation, spelling; and definition of medical terms. Not open for credit to students who have completed or are currently enrolled in BIOL 201.
