It is designed for students who are fluent in Spanish and who are ready to develop literacy skills. This course continues to focus on extensive reading of all types of texts and their reworking in written form with the intention of expanding the vocabulary, increasing the awareness of linguistic registers, discussing items beyond the familial routine, improving written expression - particularly accentuation and spelling - and developing an appreciation for Latino culture as manifested in any of the Spanish-speaking countries including the USA.
