    <b><font color="7A0018">Begins Fall 2025</b></font><br> This course is designed to provide an overview of the problem of childhood obesity. Students will explore reasons for the epidemic in our country and review the trends. Factors including pressure by the media and the connection to eating disorders will be studied. Students will look at the role of the family, school and community in addressing childhood obesity. This course is recommended for Foods,Nutrition and Child Development.
