Transfers ToCSUDescription<b><font color="7A0018">Begins Fall 2025</b></font><br> This course examines the history and philosophies of human services; identifies what constitutes genuine and empathic relationships; analyzes the role of conflict in individual and societal systems; demonstrates a broad range of relevant communication skills and strategies, and assists students in designing integrated services using innovative practices in diverse settings. The course includes components on personality development; social and political influences that shape interactive behavior, and guidelines for identifying normal and exceptional behavior, as well as, practical ways of helping people who have problems in living.Usually HeldMon Wed 9:20am–10:45am, Tue 5:40pm–8:45pm, Tue Thu 11:00am–12:25pm
