    <b><font color="7A0018">Begins Fall 2025</b></font><br> Develops critical thinking, reading, and writing skills as they apply to textual analysis of primary and secondary sources, essays, articles, and a book-length work from a range of academic and cultural contexts. Theme based. Emphasis on the techniques and principles of effective written argument in research-based writing across the disciplines.
