    <b><font color="7A0018">Begins Fall 2025</b></font><br>This course introduces the core security concepts and skills needed to monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to cybercrime, cyberespionage, insider threats, advanced persistent threats, regulatory requirements, and other cybersecurity issues facing organizations. It also covers how to monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats, as outlined in the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework. You will learn security concepts, security monitoring, host-based analysis, network intrusion analysis, and security policies procedures. This course also aligns with the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Cybersecurity Workforce Framework to support consistent communication language for cybersecurity education, training, and workforce development.
