Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course meets the requirements of the State of California, Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST). It covers topics such as ethics, professionalism, the criminal justice system, criminal law, property crimes, laws of arrest, laws of search and seizure, Investigative report writing, use of force, custodial issues, arrest and control methods. In accordance with POST regulations, students missing more than 5% of class time will not be certified in this course.
