    Description
    <b><font color="7A0018">Begins Fall 2025. Effective Fall 2025, COMM-C1000H replaces COMM-01H</b></font><br> In this course, students learn and apply foundational rhetorical theories and techniques ofpublic speaking in a multicultural democratic society. Students discover, develop, andcritically analyze ideas in public discourse through research, reasoning, organization,composition, delivery to a live audience, and evaluation of various types of speeches,including informative and persuasive speeches. This is an honors course. (Approved for C-IDCOMM 110) Students taking this class must be enrolled in the Honors Program. See thecollege catalog for a description of enrollment requirements.
