    This course is an introduction to psychology, which is thestudyofthemindandbehavior.Studentsfocusontheoriesand concepts of biological, cognitive, developmental, environmental, social,andculturalinfluences;theirapplications;andtheirresearch foundations. Topics include history, methodology, biopsychology, life-span development, sensation and perception, consciousness and altered states, learning and memory, thought and language, intelligence,motivationandemotion,personality,psychopathology and therapy, stress and health, social and cultural influences.
