- Thiscourseexaminesthecurrentandevolvingpatterns of mental health care and the shifts from inpatient custodial care to community-based treatment for the mentally ill. This course also examines the health-illness continuum, psychopathology, neuroses and psychoses, clinical disorders and maladaptations ofbehavior,andpsychopharmacologicalapproachestotreatment.
