    Description
    This course introduces the fundamental building blocksthatformamodernnetworksuchasprotocols,topologies, hardware,network architecturesandnetwork operatingsystems. The course will also cover the most important concepts in contemporary networking and security which include TCP/IP, Ethernet,wirelesstransmission,networkadministration,intrusion detection systems, support and troubleshooting WANs (Wide Area Networks). Students will develop the skills to implement a securenetworktopologyusingtheproperhardwareandsoftware for their environment. Students will build a network from scratch and maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot an existing network. Finally, students will be prepared to take the CompTIA (The Computing Technology Industry Association) Network + and Security + certification exams.
