    Students engage in critical analysis, discussion and response to works in Humanities with a focus on regional, national, and world cultures. Students refine English language skills emphasizing vocabulary development, critical reading, and compositionskillsrequiredformoreadvancedacademicdiscourse. This course provides language support and a lens for cultural insight for multilingual students. Successful completion of this course prepares students for English as a Second Language 315.
