- Students learn to comprehend extended spokendiscourseandlectures,andlearntogiveexplanationsand opinions on a variety of common academic topics. This course may be taken concurrently with other ESL 213-level courses. Successful completion of this course will prepare students for ESL 214LS or ESL 314LS.
