Description: This class is the first in a two- semester sequence of general biology for science majors. Students will explore the chemistry of life, cellular structures, and cellular metabolism- including photosynthesis and aerobic and anaerobic respiration. Regulation of the cell cycle and communication between cells will be investigated.
