    This course provides a basic understanding of the business and economics of the agriculture industry and the role that it plays in a global economy. Students will be introduced to the economic aspects of agriculture and their implications to the agricultural producer, consumers and the food system. Students will also discuss the management principles encountered in the day-to-day operation of an agricultural enterprise as they relate to the decision-making process.
