    Description
    This lab course is designed for advanced SMAW students. This course covers layout, fitting, tacking, and plate welding in all positions with a V-groove joint configuration and backing bar. This course utilizes welding with E7018 and allows the student to obtain the skills to pass a visual inspection and the bend or X-ray test. Air Carbon Arc Gouging techniques and practice.
