    Description
This course is designed to provide vocational nursing students with hands-on experience in pediatric nursing care through a combination of lab-based simulations and real-world clinical experiences. In the skills lab, students will practice essential pediatric nursing procedures within a controlled environment that allow students to refine technical skills and develop confidence in a safe setting. Students will also participate in pediatric clinical rotations where they will apply their skills in real pediatric healthcare settings, working under the supervision of experienced nurses and instructors. The course emphasizes the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical skills, focusing on the unique needs of pediatric patients and the importance of family-centered care. By the end of the course, students will be proficient in providing safe, competent, and compassionate care to infants, children, and adolescents in a variety of healthcare environments.
