It covers essential maternity and newborn nursing skills, integrating theoretical knowledge and clinical rationales to ensure students are well-prepared for real-world applications. Students will learn and practice various skills, including prenatal assessments, labor and delivery support, postpartum care, and newborn assessments. The course emphasizes the importance of understanding the underlying theory behind each skill, troubleshooting common challenges, and adapting techniques to meet individual patient needs.
