- This course presents the basic causes and symptoms of disease and/or health problems of adults. Introduces nursing principals to maintain and/or restore homeostasis and provide physiological and emotional comfort and safety. Builds on the nursing process as a systematic approach to providing preventive and restorative nursing care.
