- This course provides an introduction to the Deaf Culture as it applies to the historical, cultural and social experiences of our Deaf community. Course will introduce issues directly related to the Deaf including education and assimilation in bilingual/bicultural settings. Course taught in American Sign Language. This course is part of a certificate in American Sign Language Proficiency.
