    Description
    This course is designed to introduce beginning nursing students to their role and responsibilities in the safe administration of medications in the clinical setting. Basic principles of medication administration such as the Six Rights (right patient, right drug, right dose, right time, right route, right documentation). Pharmacodynamics of drug absorption, metabolism and distribution through various routes along with other basic principles of pharmacology are introduced.
