- This seminar introduces students to the nursing profession and discusses current trends related to the profession. Emphasis is placed on introducing the student to the professional standards of practice of the registered nurse and the licensed vocational nurse. The student is provided with an overview of the course requirements needed to qualify for the Los Medanos nursing programs.
