    Description
    This is the fourth course in the recording arts sequence. This course focuses on five primary areas of study: audio post-production for film/video, signal processors, analog storage, mixing and mastering. The details of post-production audio for film are examined with an emphasis on synchronization techniques, time code and digital audio editing. An overview of signal processors is presented. Information from previous courses in the sequence is applied when studying mixing. Course concludes with a description of the mastering process. Required for the LMC Recording Arts Associated Degree and Certificate requirements. This course is offered in the spring only.
