Detailed emphasis will be placed on the case history of the Supreme Court and state courts by analyzing civil liberties protections, civil rights guarantees, and other controversies related to law and justice. The varying sources of law, role of the law in our society, and different types of law will be explored during lectures, discussions, and classroom activities.
