An interdisciplinary approach will be used to develop an understanding of the nature of energy and matter interactions through a study of such topics as motion, thermal physics, electromagnetism, wave phenomena, and modern physics. Emphasis is placed on the creative process of scientific inquiry, on the aesthetics of science, and on the limitations and implications of scientific knowledge.
