The roots of western philosophy, will be covered with The Pre-socratics, Socrates, Plato and Aristotle; and the roots of other philosophical traditions will be covered through their respective primary texts. The course will emphasize how the development of Ancient philosophy influenced and shaped contemporary culture and beliefs, introducing students to the foundations of contemporary philosophy, ideas and questions.Usually HeldMon Wed 9:35am–11:00am
