    Description
    An introduction to the theory of calculus with applications to problems in business, economics, biology, social and life sciences. Mathematical models will be applied to these fields and problem solving will be emphasized. Topics include: problem solving; modeling; functions; differential calculus; exponential and logarithmic functions; and an introduction to the concepts of integration. Use of a mathematical software package or graphing calculator required.
