- Dance Performance provides the introduction to basic dance performance techniques and provides the opportunity for students to apply skills in jazz, modern, contemporary, hip-hop and ballet dance styles towards a performance experience. Emphasis is placed on student application of dance choreography and performance skills; costuming, staging, and lighting design opportunities are also available. Students may audition to perform in ensemble and solo pieces.
