    This course introduces the engineering profession. Learn about computer-aided design software and 3D printing technology to create anything that you can imagine. The skills learned in this course will be applicable to a wide range of jobs in the fields of engineering, architecture, and technology. This course includes the worldwide history of engineering and its influences on society and reviews the major engineering disciplines and the requirements for becoming an engineer. The course also introduces engineering reports, graphics, and presentations. Engineering calculations and a design project are an integral part of the course. Engineering ethics and the need for lifelong learning are also discussed.
