The principles and practice of common synthetic and analytical procedures will be introduced. This is the second semester of a two-semester Organic Chemistry sequence. CHEM-029 explores the chemistry of aromatics, alcohols, ethers, aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids & derivatives, carbonyl substitution & condensation reactions, and selected biomolecules.
